Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in their daily activities
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Monitor and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and personal hygiene needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents and staff
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Ability to provide state or federally issued identification for registry compliance
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Must be able to pass background check and meet facility requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of daily living assistance and resident care techniques
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
• Time management and attention to detail
