Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate residents and families on health management and wellness

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact state)
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work AP shift and occasional weekends as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
