Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
• Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Sterilize and organize surgical tools and equipment after each case
• Transport patients to and from the operating room safely
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
• BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a hospital or surgical setting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Familiarity with operating room protocols and procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
