Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 6:00 PM, 4 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend and holiday shifts required, with on-call shifts 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform general, vascular, and specialized ultrasound procedures
Operate advanced ultrasound equipment, including Phillips systems
Work effectively with radiologists and other medical staff
Maintain patient records and ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications

Registered Sonographer (RVT) with strong vascular experience
ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with procedures and patient care

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound imaging techniques
Vascular and general sonography
Patient communication and care
Medical terminology and record-keeping
