Physical Therapist - ICU
Location: Redwood City, California
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-07-2026
Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts, including 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with potential weekend shifts
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in ICU and inpatient units
- Work with ventilated patients and those with orthopedic and total joint conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct physical therapy assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve patient goals
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
- Experience with ICU and ventilated patients
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
Education
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy

- Physical therapy techniques and interventions
- ICU and acute care settings
- Ventilated patient care
- Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
- MedSurg and oncology patient care
- Cardiology and cardiac surgery patient care
