Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, every other weekend and holidays, with 30 minutes response time for rotating call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform various imaging studies, including brain, MRCP, ABD, pelvis, and extremities
- Operate GE and Toshiba equipment
- Work with Radnet and Merge Unity software
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in department-specific orientation and training
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Ability to float to nearby Mercy Southwest location
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
Knowledge & Skills
- Rad Tech skills
- Xray Tech skills
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Experience with GE and Toshiba equipment
- Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity software
