Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision and care
• Document patient status accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications from recognized providers
• Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing is strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend/holiday
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response
• Comfortable using EHR systems and medical equipment
• Excellent documentation and patient charting abilities
• Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced environments
