Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico or a compact state license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to work 12-hour shifts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and standards
• Medication administration and dosage calculation skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and charting systems
• Critical thinking and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when caring for others
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
