Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every patient
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Mexico or a compact state license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and standards
- Medication administration and dosage calculation skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and charting systems
- Critical thinking and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude when caring for others
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
