Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status, responding to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans
• Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Missouri (or compact state)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• PALS certification preferred
• Previous pediatric or med/surg nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric nursing principles
• Skilled in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Understanding of child development and family dynamics
• Proficient in electronic health records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Patient and compassionate approach to care
