Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting
- Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status and response to treatments
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilatory support as ordered
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust respiratory care plans
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure respiratory equipment is clean and functioning
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (or compact acceptable where applicable)
- Current BLS certification from AHA required; PALS preferred
- Previous experience as a Respiratory Therapist, especially in pediatrics or critical care, is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible PRN shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Familiarity with electronic health records
