Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts (per diem; days, nights, and weekends as needed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized, compassionate care to pediatric intensive care patients
- Continuously assess patient status and intervene in critical situations
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Support and educate families, keeping them informed and involved
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and document care promptly
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (or compact where applicable)
- Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of pediatric critical care and assessment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (e.g., Epic or Cerner)
- Excellent critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
- Compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
