Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate, and treat patients with respiratory conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and respiratory medications
• Monitor and manage ventilator settings for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop individualized care plans
• Document patient responses and adjust therapies to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Ability to work per diem with flexible availability
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in ventilator management and respiratory equipment
• Knowledge of evidence-based respiratory therapy protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
