Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients on a busy 20 Tower Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms while managing cardiac drips with confidence
• Provide specialized care for oncology, hematology, surgical laminectomy and sickle cell patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in clinical research rooms and GIP beds as needed
• Float across units as needed to support patient needs across a large Level 1 Trauma center
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic to keep care seamless and coordinated
• Educate patients and families while advocating for the best possible outcomes
• Stay calm, organized and patient-focused in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license, ready to submit with your application
• 2+ years of RN experience, with 3+ years and prior travel experience strongly preferred
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfort with cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring
• Openness to floating and flexibility with scheduling
• Experience in a busy, high-acuity hospital setting

Education

• Charting System: EPIC
• Unit Notes: Daily Parking is $15+/day. Multiple options for on/off campus garages and lots ranging from $95 - $120 for monthly parking pass.
