Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry monitors to detect and respond to changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per physician orders
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on heart health, medications, and recovery
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous telemetry or acute care experience preferred
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and act quickly in fast-paced environments
