Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 6 hours per shift, no scheduled break
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments for pediatric patients
- Coordinate with families and the surgical team to ensure everything is ready for surgery
- Administer pre-operative medications and IVs as ordered
- Provide education and emotional support to children and their families
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Washington State
- BLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Some experience in pre-op, PACU, or pediatrics is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of pediatric pre-operative procedures and protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
