Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to protocol
• Educate and support families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• Active California RN license in good standing
• PICU or pediatric critical care experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Ability to work as needed/per diem and adapt to flexible schedules
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric critical care assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Family-centered care and patient education
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Electronic health record documentation
