Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff during your shift, ensuring high-quality patient care
• Coordinate and oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety, and infection control standards
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Serve as a resource and support for nursing team members

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Previous nursing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience is a plus
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nursing care standards and best practices in skilled nursing
• Leadership and team coordination abilities
• Skill in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Understanding of infection control and safety regulations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
