Shift Type: Per diem - Flexible shifts as needed (12.5-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and home care
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Oregon or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- PALS certification preferred
- Previous pediatric nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Pediatric nursing best practices
- Family-centered and developmentally appropriate care
- Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Medication administration and pediatric dosage calculations
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Effective communication with children, families, and team members
