Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess progressive care patients with complex medical conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Document patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patient recovery

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
• Previous PCU, step-down, or critical care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry
• Understanding of progressive care protocols and interventions
• Skill in IV therapy and medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate patient-centered approach
