Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients
• Assist the surgical team during pediatric procedures
• Ensure a safe, comforting environment for children and their families
• Monitor patient status throughout the surgical journey
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington (or compact license) required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Previous OR experience preferred, but a strong commitment to learning is valued
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pediatric surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and aseptic technique
• Skill in pediatric assessment and family-centered care
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable using surgical equipment and electronic health records
