Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room
• Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond quickly to changes during surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members for optimal outcomes
• Support and educate patients and families before and after surgical procedures

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
• Current BLS certification; PALS certification preferred
• Previous operating room experience, especially in pediatrics, is a plus
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for caring for children

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
