Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing activities to ensure high-quality patient care across the unit
• Lead and support nursing staff, providing guidance and resources to promote a positive work environment
• Monitor patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Respond promptly to clinical issues and escalate concerns as needed
• Oversee staffing and patient flow to maintain smooth operations during evening shifts

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or a compact state
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in nursing supervision or charge nurse role preferred
• Ability to lead a team and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of nursing care standards and regulatory requirements
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Team collaboration and conflict resolution
