Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU
- Attend deliveries and complete admissions, supporting the tiniest patients from their first moments
- Manage respiratory support including high-flow nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, and ventilators
- Care for ELBW infants and confidently handle UVC, UAC, and chest tubes
- Collaborate with a dedicated team and 24/7 in-house neonatologists
- Float between campuses as needed and assist Mother Baby staff with labs, circumcisions, and CCHD screenings
Qualifications
- Current BLS, NRP-Advanced, and STABLE certifications, up to date before starting
- Minimum of 2 years of Level III or IV NICU experience
- Proficiency with NC, HFNC, BCPAP, vents, chest tubes, UVC, UAC, and ELBW infant care
- Delivery experience highly preferred
- A team-player attitude with a willingness to precept and float as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of NICU diagnoses such as PPHN, prematurity, and hypoglycemia
- Skilled in MEDITECH charting
- Adept at managing respiratory support and neonatal emergencies
- Strong critical-thinking and assessment skills
- Flexible and adaptable, ready to assist across Mother Baby and NICU
