Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings, responding to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of EHR systems and documentation standards
