Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, adjusting plans as conditions change
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient information promptly and accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire in good standing
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Previous medical-surgical or acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts, including some weekends and holidays as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of med-surg nursing principles, including wound care, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standardized nursing documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control standards and patient safety protocols
