Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state license (if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• PALS certification strongly preferred
• Prior pediatric or Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and excellent at communicating with families

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfort with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of family-centered care principles
