Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs closely
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and care instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification required, PALS preferred
• Experience in Med/Surg or pediatrics is a plus
• A caring, patient-centered approach to nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Pediatric assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration expertise
• Comfortable using electronic health records
• Strong communication with patients and families
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
