Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on individual patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring responses
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate changes in condition promptly
• Educate patients and their families on discharge instructions and health management

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Louisiana or a compact state nursing license
• BLS certification required
• Prior Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and thrive in a fast-paced environment
