Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions based on individual patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor vital signs and collaborate with the healthcare team on patient progress
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and home care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia or a compact state
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
• Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) charting
• IV therapy and medication administration skills
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
