Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Previous experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in patient assessment and monitoring
• Expertise in medication administration and IV therapy
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythms
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
