Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare patients for dental exams and procedures
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout visits
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant certification or license as required by Maryland
• Experience in a dental office setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software and charting
• Skill in infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to take quality dental x-rays
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
