Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to students and staff in a school health office
• Assist with daily health screenings and first aid
• Monitor and document vital signs and symptoms
• Collaborate with school nurses and healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Support students with medication administration under supervision

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in California
• BLS certification recommended
• Experience in school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing procedures
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Proficient in documenting patient information
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
