Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patients during labor and delivery
Provide support and education to expecting mothers and families
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe delivery
Administer medications and interventions as needed
Document patient care accurately and timely

Qualifications

Current RN license in Virginia
BLS certification required
Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient advocacy

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of maternal-fetal health
Proficiency in fetal monitoring
Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure
Team collaboration and interpersonal skills
