Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and responding quickly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care thoroughly
• Support and educate patients and families during the recovery process

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama or a compact state
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ICU equipment, ventilators, and monitoring devices
• Understanding of hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, and critical care protocols
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and medication administration
• Excellent teamwork and patient advocacy skills
• Adaptability and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
