Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Continuously assess and monitor patient status, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and implement life-saving interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Support and educate patients and their families through challenging times
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous ICU or critical care experience is strongly preferred, but passionate new grads are welcome to apply
• Ability to provide compassionate, high-acuity care with a calm, focused demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Comfort with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and continuous renal replacement therapy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
• Proficiency with EHR charting and medication administration systems
