Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform emergency interventions with confidence.
• Educate and support patients and their families during some of life's most challenging moments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure continuity of care across the ICU.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or a compact state license (or willingness to obtain one)
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Previous experience in an ICU or critical care setting preferred
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• A passion for delivering exceptional, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with ventilator management and cardiac monitoring
• Knowledge of evidence-based critical care practices
• Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
