Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, from heart attacks to severe trauma
• Triage patients quickly and efficiently to prioritize care based on acuity
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic results, and adapt care plans in real-time
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
• Current TNCC certification (not ENPC) is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and trauma care
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Capable of managing multiple patients with varying acuity levels
