Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to stabilize acute conditions
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and trauma situations
• Advocate for patients and ensure a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required (AHA or equivalent)
• Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications a plus
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts including weekends and holidays
• Compassionate, calm, and confident in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities
• Excellent patient assessment and triage skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
