Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions in a fast-paced environment
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during critical moments
• Respond quickly and effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Previous emergency department or critical care experience is a plus
• Ability to think critically and stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and triage systems
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent critical thinking and prioritization skills
• Adaptable and quick-thinking in high-stress situations
