Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute conditions
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on the urgency of their needs
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to stabilize and treat emergencies
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as ordered
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Respond swiftly and calmly to critical situations in a dynamic ED environment

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Previous emergency department or critical care nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required or obtained upon hire)
• Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Excellent clinical judgment and patient assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning
• Ability to triage and prioritize care effectively
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
• Comfort using electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
• Calm, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
