Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Monitor telemetry and interpret vital signs accurately
• Assist in trauma resuscitations and stroke protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow
• Document patient encounters using Cerner system
• Coach and mentor junior staff and students
• Maintain a respectful and patient-centered environment
• Adhere to AIDET communication standards
• Support unit initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong telemetry monitoring skills and ability to pass the tele exam
• Excellent teamwork, coaching, and flexibility
• Proficiency in Cerner documentation
• Commitment to patient experience and AIDET principles
