Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutritional needs and create personalized care plans
• Provide medical nutrition therapy to help patients achieve their health goals
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to deliver comprehensive treatment
• Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and dietary guidelines
• Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

• Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
• California state licensure or eligibility to obtain it
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field
• Previous clinical nutrition experience is a plus
• Compassionate and a great communicator
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical nutrition assessment skills
• Working knowledge of the Nutrition Care Process
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent documentation and time management skills
• Ability to translate complex nutrition science into practical advice
• Collaboration and patient education skills
