Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures with precision and care
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting when needed
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to capture high-quality images
• Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately

Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• Active Louisiana Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience as a Rad Tech in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of radiographic positioning and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Strong attention to detail and image quality assessment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with PACS and EHR systems
