Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during exams
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment following safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to optimize image quality
• Document patient information and exam details accurately
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification (R) and Pennsylvania state licensure (or eligibility)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, per-diem environment
• Experience in diagnostic radiology preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in radiologic positioning and imaging techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection principles
• Proficiency with digital radiography equipment and PACS
• Understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
