Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric examinations and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate young patients on proper oral hygiene in a fun and caring way
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment area
• Provide compassionate support to children and their families

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or state registration as required
• Radiography (X-ray) certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A warm, patient, and friendly demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and instruments
• Skill in engaging with children and easing their anxiety
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Team player with a positive attitude
