Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, personalized care to patients and residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with meals and nutrition, ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
• Document patient care accurately and timely to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or hospital setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for patients and families
• Flexibility to work per diem shifts including nights and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety procedures
• Skill in taking and recording vital signs
• Effective communication and active listening skills
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
