Roles & Responsibilities

• Float to all PCU and IMCU floors, providing care to a diverse cardiac population
• Manage patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery, and chest pain
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3-4, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMCU experience in a similar-sized facility
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to adapt quickly to different unit protocols and patient needs
• Current and unrestricted RN license in Georgia or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in cardiac care, including interpretation of telemetry and rhythm strips
• Experience with cardiac drips and invasive monitoring
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to float across multiple units
