Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize and prepare instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays accurately
- Perform routine maintenance of orthodontic appliances
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and brace care
- Maintain patient records and schedule appointments
Qualifications
- Must be orthodontic certified (required)
- Current Dental Assistant certification
- Experience in orthodontic assisting preferred
- Knowledge of dental software (Denticon experience a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with sterilization and infection control protocols
