Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable patient experience
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a clean and organized operatory
- Take dental X-rays and intraoral scans as needed
- Educate patients on orthodontic care and post-treatment hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
- Support the team in delivering exceptional orthodontic care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or completion of a dental assistant training program
- Active Maryland dental assistant certification or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in an orthodontic practice
- Radiology/X-ray certification preferred
- A passion for patient care and teamwork
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
- Familiarity with Denticon or other dental practice management software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a gentle, patient-centered approach
