Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with procedures and patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take dental x-rays and impressions as needed
• Educate patients on orthodontic treatments and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure a clean and welcoming environment in the dental office

Qualifications

• Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant (required)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dental environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Patient education and chairside manner
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Denticon)
